I approach massage by treating the whole person – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Therefore, I practice with good intention, loving presence, and positive attitude. I include with every massage the application of essential oils to calm and balance the mind and body. Classical Swedish massage is designed to energize the body by stimulating circulation. Through a series of warming strokes muscles are loosened and the body sinks into a state of deep relaxation. Benefits include stress relief, complete relaxation, dissolution of scar tissue adhesions, and improved circulation. It also strengthens the immune system. In addition to Classical Swedish, my massage includes gentle stretching and acupressure points to ensure an overall equilibrium between mind and body.

In addition to Classical Swedish, I am trained in Thai massage as well. Thai massage involves gentle stretching and working the energy lines of the body through compression. It is done on a mat on the floor with the clothes on. It is like someone giving you a yoga class and a massage at once!

I hold California state certification and am a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. I attended Phillips School of Massage and Spirit Winds School of Thai Massage in Nevada City, CA where I completed over 800 hours of massage therapy training.
