Vibrational Medicine & Sound Healing sessions are gentle, energy-based, non-invasive treatments that are similar to acupuncture, using the vibrations of tuning forks instead of needles. Laura also uses specifically tuned-chimes, Tibetan Singing Bowls placed on or around the body, crystal singing bowls and more. Vibrational Medicine & Sound Therapy draws on Oriental medicine, music theory, cosmological studies, psychology, and Sound Therapy principles. It’s a rigorously scientific, structured, replicatable system that is strongly supported by research and patient case studies.
The practice of Vibrational Medicine & Sound Therapy permeates the whole being of a person with the vibrations of the cosmic ecosystem. It harmonizes the individual’s cells and DNA to the very frequencies from which they evolved – and at the same time, the practice counteracts the damaging effects of the cellular radio frequency “soup” we are swimming in ev

Here’s how our one-on-one yoga lessons can help you.
1. Gain Initial Experience in a Safer Environment for Beginners
If you’re completely new to yoga, you might find group classes a little overwhelming.
When the rest of the class already knows what to do, you may be struggling to keep up. But with a private yoga instructor, you won’t be left behind. In fact, the class is all about YOU.
In yoga, it’s absolutely imperative that you learn the basics correctly and ensure proper alignment. Without doing so, you’re at an increased risk of injury while doing yoga and no one wants that.
Your instructor guide you every step of the way, making sure your session goes at a pace that’s right for you.
2. Feel More Comfortable and Less Self-Conscious
It’s not just newbies who find group yoga classes intimidating. Even experienced practitioners can find that the environment throws them off.
Some people find that a quiet, individual lesson is much more comfortable for them. With no one else around, you don’t have to feel self-conscious about being watched or worried that you won’t be able to keep up with the class.
This way, your yoga practice can be calm, relaxing, and meditative. Just the way it’s supposed to be!
3. Focus on Personal Goals & Needs
Different people come to yoga for different reasons, all looking for some of the many benefits yoga has to offer based on their own personal needs. Maybe it’s your anxiety you’re wanting to manage or your lower back pain. Perhaps you’ve tried a few different yoga classes and have simply struggled to find one that feels like a good fit for you. With so many different types of yoga and an endless list of instructors, going through the process of trial and error can take quite some time.
When you opt for private yoga lessons, you avoid that long and difficult process completely. That’s because you can choose exactly how your yoga session works.
Your instructor will talk with you about what you’re looking for, and they’ll craft a session and schedule that fits your personal needs and goals.
This is also great for people who find it difficult to do certain poses due to injury or mobility problems.
Your instructor can modify your poses and select ones that work around your particular challenges.
4. Reduce Your Anxiety Without Triggering Other Stressors
Lots of people practice yoga in order to manage anxiety and stress. But we all know how stressful it can be to get to your studio group class on time or to find parking before class starts. That’s one of the reasons why for some people, a group environment is counter-productive to combat anxiety. Furthermore, the presence of other people can induce stress and social anxiety in some.
A private yoga lesson is a much more calming environment. You don’t have to worry about who else is looking at you, what they think of you, or how your yoga skills measure up in comparison to theirs.
While we always say that ego has no place in yoga, that’s easier said than done. So give yourself the best chances for success with a private lesson.
5. Be Able to Practice Yoga Anywhere, Even at Work
You don’t have to do your private yoga session in a studio or at your home.
If you prefer, you can even have an instructor come to your workplace and provide sessions there.
Office yoga programs have been proven to make employees more effective.
The benefits of yoga at work stretch far beyond just improved productivity. These classes also improve business communications. This is because it relaxes and refreshes employees, keeping them calm and lifting their moods.
Book your private yoga class and try doing your yoga at work.
6. Work Around Your Schedule
Busy schedules are one of the top culprits for stopping people from taking care of their mental and physical health. Whether you’ve got to do the school run, head to a meeting or study for a test, there’s always something getting in the way. Most group classes take place early in the morning before people go to work, or in the evening after the finish. If neither of those times works for you, it can be hard to fit your yoga in.
When you work with an instructor privately, your session schedule works on your terms. Instead of struggling to get to your class on time, you can make it come to you when you’re ready.
This also means you can be flexible in more ways than one. You don’t have to stick to the same time for every session. If your work or social life gets in the way, you can always move your sessions around them.
7. Advance Your Yoga Skills with Pre-Determined Goals
As we mentioned, private yoga lessons aren’t just great for beginners. They can be hugely beneficial for advanced yogis, too! Some people find that group classes aren’t challenging enough or don’t focus enough on the poses they want to improve on. Sometimes, they find that the classes become stagnant, and they don’t feel themselves improving anymore. Or perhaps a student wishes to work on “mastery” of a specific pose, or is looking with alignment assistant that isn’t available in a group class format.
In a private lesson, you can have an individual program that’s tailored specifically for your needs. Your instructor will plan routines that incorporate the poses you want, and help you to work towards even your loftiest yoga goals.
This way, you can break through a plateau and take your yoga practice to the next level.
8. Tailor The Class To Your Limitations, Injuries, or Health Concerns
We’re not all created equal. For some of us, injuries or health concerns can make a group yoga class impractical and even dangerous. An instructor teaching a few students at one time simply can’t address your individual health concerns to ensure that the poses you do don’t further injure you or are otherwise unsafe.
With studio classes, you’ll often alter yourself to meet the class. With private yoga lessons, your instructor will alter the session to meet your specific needs.
When you practice privately with an instructor, the instructor will design the session around your health concerns and injuries.
9. Prepare Yourself to Develop a Strong Supportive Home Practice
Some people prefer to do private classes on a permanent basis. However, others simply use them to prepare themselves to create a strong, steady and supportive home practice later down the line.
You can work with your instructor to get all the basics nailed down, priming you for own personal home practice.
